INMATE SHOWER UPGRADING

WESTERN TIDEWATER REGIONAL JAIL

The Western Tidewater Regional Jail (WTRJ) will accept sealed bids until 2:00pm Wednesday, July 8, 2020 for the upgrading of Inmate Showers within the facility. The project is generally described as the resurfacing of the existing showers by placing stainless steel over the existing concrete/cinder block ceilings and walls. The improvements will result in all walls and ceilings being covered by at least 20 gauge 2b stainless steel. Cutouts and stainless steel covers will be required where venting is currently located. All stainless steel is to be secured with fuse-in and lead rivets. All installation is to be included in bid. Bids should be broken down by price per unit (price per shower).

Bidders must have completed similar projects and have prior experience in correctional facilities.

Requirements: You must send Six (6) hardbound copies of each response to include one (1) original as stamped and five (5) other copies. In addition, an electronic copy of the full proposal and a redacted copy of the proposal shall be submitted at such time. Preferably on a flash drive. The redacted copy will be posted on our website and will contain no proprietary or confidential information.
